    • 1-pound ground elk
    • 1/4 cup chopped onion
    • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
    • 1 egg
    • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • 4 hamburger buns
    • Lettuce
    • Tomato
    • Onion
    • Cheese (optional)
